Sammie Ling
Bachelor of Applied Sc (Chinese Medicine)
Bachelor of Health Sc
Bachelor of Biotechnology (Honours)
Sammie has dedicated herself to learning Chinese Medicine since 2018, following TCM teachers, actively attending seminars and workshops to expand her TCM knowledge and skills, and learning new ways to treat a variety of conditions.
Sammie is particularly interested in treating conditions of Pain, helping those with various aches and pain, musculoskeletal conditions, headaches and migraines. Her preferred treatment for these issues is acupuncture.
Her other areas of interest are:
Sammie has developed a particular interest in Post-stroke rehabilitation and recovery, after having seen people many months after suffering a stroke, still struggling with their speech, partial/one-sided facial and body paralysis, and weakness in the limbs. Sammie's aim is to gradually aid in improving their health with the use of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, with the intention that stroke patients can resume day-to-day activities. Having said that, earlier intervention has a higher chance of regaining normal or close to normal function.
Cosmetic acupuncture is becoming more popular in recent years. Sammie would like to see women relaxing while receiving the beauty of cosmetic acupuncture, which is believed to bring facial rejuvenation, stimulate collagen production, soften lines and wrinkles, reduce scarring, lift sagging, improve blood circulation and skin texture.
On a personal level, Sammie advocates the importance of looking after your mental health and leads by example, keeping a healthy balance in life by spending her free time outdoors, going for a walk on a sunny day, exploring the countryside, listening to her favourite music, and singing along to familiar tunes!
Sammie is enthusiastic about using her knowledge and skills to bring you a better, healthier life.
