Laura McCulloch

Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Applied Science (Chinese Medicine) RMIT 2020
Laura discovered Chinese Medicine in her early teens, when her Mum encouraged her to see a practitioner. This experience sparked a curiosity that she decided to turn into a career and she has been fascinated ever since.
Using Chinese Medicine principles, Laura identifies the underlying cause of the condition rather than symptom- based treatment. She enjoys treating a wide variety of disorders and combines different modalities which may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture and tuina (massage).
Laura’s final Clinical Internship would usually have taken place in Nanjing, China. Due to COVID-19 she was unable to travel overseas, however, she was fortunate enough to be able to complete her placement under Kylie Freemantle’s guidance here at Bendigo Chinese Medicine.
While she wholeheartedly believes in a holistic approach, Laura also believes in the importance of integrated medicine. She is more than happy to work alongside other health practitioners, when necessary, to consolidate treatment.
